From: The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Computer Society
Award: $24,000
For students entering their first year of full-time graduate study in electrical engineering.

2. Barnes Scholarship
From: The Tampa Bay Times Fund, Inc.
Award: $15,000
For high school seniors who are residents of Citrus, Hernando, Pasco, Pinellas, or Hillsborough County in Florida.

3. Guild Scholar Award
From: The Jewish Guild for the Blind
Award: $15,000
For college-bound high school students who are legally blind.

4. Bachelor of Science Nursing Scholarship
From: Health Professions Education Foundation
Award: $13,000
For students currently enrolled or accepted in a bachelor's degree in nursing program in California.

5. Symantec Software Scholarship
From: Symantec Corp.
Award: $10,000
For Utah high school students who plan to pursue an education in math or science.

6. Raskin Scholarship
From: The Raskin Foundation
Award: $10,000
For Chicago-area high school seniors with financial need and an interest in the creative arts.

7. Minnesota Academic Excellence Scholarship
From: The Minnesota Office of Higher Education
Award: $10,000
For Minnesota high school seniors who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in English or creative writing, fine arts, foreign language, math, science, or social science.

8. Herb Block Scholarship
From: The Herb Block Foundation
Award: $8,000
For community college students of Washington, DC; Montgomery or Prince George's County in Maryland; and Arlington or Fairfax County, or the cities of Alexandria or Falls Church in Virginia.

9. Cloy & Connie Olhausen Scholarship
From; Siouxland Community Foundation
Award: $7,500
For students graduating from one of the following Iowa high schools: Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn High in Hartley, Sibley-Ocheyedan High in Sibley, Sheldon High in Sheldon, or South O'Brien High in Paullina.

10. Good Tidings Foundation Community Service Scholarship
From: The Good Tidings Foundation
Award: $5,000
For high school seniors with financial need and extraordinary community service accomplishments who reside in one of the following counties in California: San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Cruz, Monterey, San Benito, Merced, Stanislaus, Alameda, San Joaquin, Contra Costa, Solano, Yolo, Napa, Sonoma, Santa Clara, or Marin.
